Palynostratigraphy Subang, Kaliwangu, And Citalang Formation, From Cikandung River Passage, Sumedang Regency, West Java

The Subang, Kaliwangu, and Citalang Formation which are important parts of the Bogor Basin have not been studied, especially from palynostratigraphic aspect. Therefore, this study aims to conduct these three formations that well exposed in Cikandung River area, Sumedang Regency, West Java. Method used research is divided into several stages including sampling by spot sampling; preparation palynomorphs palynodebris hydrogen peroxide acid methods; identification samples using CX-22 microscope; analysis interpretation data basic statistics. Result, area was groups. first group (sample W.9 – W.10) correlates with Subang has predominantly claystone lithology Middle Miocene age shallow marine environment. This proximal basin position dysoxic conditions. second W.5 W.8) Kaliwangu alternating between sandstone younger than transitional dysoxic-anoxic third W.1 W.4) conglomerate (Kaliwangu Formation) terrestrial anoxic In general, when viewed palynodebris, presence plant material (palynomorph, cuticle, wood) negatively correlated AOM other rock fragments. On hand, terms palynomorphs, foraminifera lining test negative correlation those Florschuetzia species.
